"The grand dining room is the perfect place to enjoy appealing dishes of local and estate produce. Stay over in one of the modern country house style bedrooms."
Michelin Guide
"The regal lions and mischievous macaques in neighbouring Longleat Safari Park are the real draw. The park is five minutes away by car and is full of stately yellow lime trees and flaming bronze beeches"
The Guardian
"A traditional yet stylish country inn: simple, comfortable, unpretentious, attractive. The pub has an oak stool-lined bar stocked with local ales, a restaurant across several separate rooms and a sun-filled garden with a marquee on the terrace."
Telegraph Travel
"Service, from young and cheery locals, is spot-on. This place has hit the ground running."
The Sunday Times
"The food is excellent; temptingly original dishes sit alongside ploughman’s and cider-battered fish and chips — and expect plenty of game."
The Sunday Times
